method of maintaining a Hearing Conservation Program for protecting your
employees while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
All technicians that work on the mobile unit are
Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) certified occupational hearing conservationists. All of our mobile units
are state-of-the-art, clean and maintained for comfort. Each unit has
reinforced insulation within the walls of the unit itself to
ensure added quality to your test. We perform mobile audio testing using
individual "Eckel" hearing booths and "Benson" audiometers,
computer operated and calibrated in accordance with OSHA specifications.
We utilize custom designed reporting software (OHM) enabling us to
monitor audiograms being performed and compare results to the baseline
at time of test. All STSs noted are immediately retested prior to the individual leaving the booth. This eliminates numerous STSs. Notification letters are given to employees immediately following
all tests and a complete computer printout of all results is given to the
company following the last test.
As an added benefit, we offer CAOHC approved Hearing
Conservation Course training. Our Certification
Courses include 20 hours of lecture, demonstration, and hands
on practice of audiometric testing, hearing protection fitting, and otoscopic
examination. Re-certification Courses include
an 8 hour review of current topics for previously certified OHC’s.
Also included is a hands-on practice of audiometric testing, hearing protection
fitting, and otoscopic examination.
