If you’re an employer looking for Pulmonary
Function Testing, more than likely you have to comply with
governmental regulations. We understand the nature of pulmonary function
testing and the requirements our clients have to meet. Our goal at OccuFit is to provide you with a program that reflects the highest standard
of testing with the most cost efficient method of service.
 Our
programs are custom designed to meet your needs and to help ensure your
employees are in compliance with OSHA regulations. We provide mobile on-site pulmonary function testing and
adjust to your unique schedule. All technicians that work with our testing
devices are National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH)
certified. The devices we use for testing are "Jones SBS-3 Satellite"
spirometers. These spirometers allow us to perform approximately 20-25
pulmonary function tests every hour. We provide our clients with a complete
easy-to-read booklet of all results after a complete interpretation by
our Medical Doctor. Our result booklet is forwarded to our clients within
2 weeks of test completion with all recommendations.
As
an added benefit, we provide Respirator Fit Testing.
Respirators are an effective method for protecting your employees against
chosen hazards but only if worn properly. We provide an effective respirator
fit program. Our program meets all OSHA accepted qualitative fit test
(QLFT) protocols.
Spirometry Course
This course complies with all NIOSH guidelines for a pulmonary
function technician training course. The course will aid plant personnel
and health care professionals who are responsible for administering Respiratory
Surveillance Programs. Course includes lecture, demonstration and hands
on practice for ensuring proper techniques for administering a pulmonary
function test.
